A gardener, quilter, and trekker, my passion for mountains and hikes often weave themselves into my garden and quilt designs. Primarily using native plant palettes, found objects, and repurposing onsite materials, my aesthetic is about an understated call to look close and behold the unassuming authority of seemingly useless materials in a wildly wonderful native landscape or hand-made quilt.

 

The garden, its design and build, and teaching as I go along, is what I enjoy most, as do the loose collective of friends who help me in creating these water harvesting earthworks, native plant, and food gardens.

I hike when I'm not gardening,

quilt when I'm not hiking, sing when I'm not quilting, write, draw and design when all else fails.
